SKP cam gears
are made from the highest quality AL7075-T6 billet aluminum and are ideal
for dialing in cams for maximum power. They allow fine adjustments to cam timing
with simple hand tools so you can maximize engine performance anywhere whether
you’re in the pits or in your own garage.
Long term reliability of the teeth and timing belt are directly related to the shape of the tooth profile, SKP cam gears are CNC machined to the same exacting tolerances of original gears, and the tooth edges are beveled to increase belt life.
The outer section of our gears is hard-anodized, to reduce wear from the timing belt, while the center laser etched timing marks are accurate to within 1 minute of a degree (60 minutes in a degree) and have up to 10 degree's adjustment in both advance and retard, so you can be assured of precise tuning.
Depending on the size of the gear, the inner hub is held in place with either 4 or 5 stainless steel screws and spring washers, to ensure durability.
